run error in 'batch_eth_mnist.py'

i hava a error when i am trying to run 'batch_eth_mnist.py'.
the error is "

and before that the output imformation is 'Running on Device = cuda'
I'm quite confused as to where this issue is coming from, hope someone can help with this.

It seems that the functions in my conda library are different from those in Github. After comparison, the problem disappeared
