I think that here in schematic for HTCC-AB02S dev board link there is a mistake in labels for E1 (on-board antenna) and E2 u.fl antenna. I think they should be swapped as RF amplifier is used to amplify a signal from on-board antenna - not from external (active for most cases) antenna.
