can u make the app more light weight

[animeboyluffy2naruto310-oss]

i love the app i just wish it was more light weight its taking like 300-400 mb of space, the other apps like wallspace take like 10mb or less and much less cpu usage too id appericiate it if it was lighter

Thanks, glad you like it! Good timing: v1.6.0 just shipped and a lot of it is aimed at exactly this.

• Video wallpapers now play through the macOS hardware video player by default, so CPU usage should be much closer to the lightweight video-only apps
• Scene wallpapers are all drawn with Native Metal now, and the old Compatibility renderer is gone
• Memory: scenes and the control panel use much less, especially when one wallpaper runs on several displays. Videos inside scenes are read from disk instead of copied into memory, and the control panel drops thumbnails you've scrolled past
• The download is now ~29 MB

Update in-app or grab it from the v1.6.0 release, and let us know how it looks. Scene wallpapers will always need more than a plain video player since they run a real-time renderer, but if usage still looks too high, please share:

1. Mac model + macOS version
2. Which wallpaper (scene / video / web)
3. Whether the 300–400 MB is memory in Activity Monitor or disk space
4. An Activity Monitor screenshot showing CPU % and Memory
