A very handy feature would be to allow the user to schedule a message to send at a certain date and time.
A time icon could be placed in the ActionBar allowing the user to enter the time to send the message.
An information message would also need to be placed on the UI when a message is going to be scheduled and not actually sent to avoid user stupidity.
We would definitely need to somehow inform the user that the message will ONLY be sent if their device has internet connection at the scheduled time. Not sure of a nice way to do this.
To compliment this feature a 'Pending' Activity/MenuItem could be used to allow users see messages that are scheduled for sending.
