hello,i use ubuntu 22.01.5 and ros_bridge 2.0.1 on linux pc,then i use ue5.4 and this plugin on windows,then i set the right bridge ip and port,but i always got this error, Connection to rosbridge was interrupted.

I have good new and I have bad news.

The bad news is that I also get this error and I do not know what is causing it. One of my colleagues made the PR which added websocket support, however, I have only used a TCP socket when connecting to this plugin. I recall the websocket was working at one time, but I do not know what is causing this issue now.

The good news is that I have a branch of rosbridge_suite for ROS2 with a TCP socket (They removed it for some reason a while ago, and I made a PR to try and get it added back in, but it kept causing errors with their CI/CD pipeline, and nothing ever came out of it.) Nevertheless, the code I have should hopefully work for you. You can find my code here: https://github.com/tsender/rosbridge_suite/tree/ros2 (this is the ros2 branch that you need). The code is from an older version of rosbridge_suite, it works with foxy, but I have been told it also works with humble. In the rosbridge_server package, you will find a script file and launch file for the TCP socket. Give this a try.

I've found that the only way to get Unreal to connect to rosbridge using websockets is by not using bson.
