The last PR merged to this repo was #1062 on April 8th, 2026 (five months ago), and the last one adding a new static site generator was #1053 back on February 2nd (seven months ago). There are now 75 open PRs and counting.
Worth noting: jamstack.org still runs a site-wide banner under the nav, Let's talk about the Future of Jamstack - Join us, pointing at thefutureofjamstack.org, which froze on 2024-04-11 (based on last-modified header, and the newest video on the page and the last upload to that YouTube channel are both that same day).
The banner at the top of that site reads:
We've finished the last panel and interviews... Currently, we're working on combining all of this content into a cohesive pitch for the community to review.
That "currently" has been up for 29 months, so they are inviting people to join a project that ended two and a half years ago. If jamstack.org is abandoned, Netlify should admit it, and tell the community what its plans are.
