Password print: custom latex templates are not selectable

The documentation of sophomorix-print states that customized latex templates are to be placed in

/etc/linuxmuster/sophomorix/<school>/latex-templates

but those templates are not shown in the corresponding drop-down box when printing password If the same files are put into

/usr/share/sophomorix/lang/latex/templates

they are visible so i suspect that the directory in /etc/linuxmuster.... is not read when populating the drop-down box

linuxmuster-webui7/usr/lib/linuxmuster-webui/plugins/lmn_settings/views.py

I suspect here a simple name conflict, I will have a look at it when I find some time.

Wait a minute, I think I miss an information : do you mean printing passwords as admin or as teacher ?
In the teacher view, the teachers are not able to select a template, they always use the configured one ( in settings ).

I stumbled across this issue while trying to set up a custom template, as I had the same experience.

For me it was a big RTFM-Moment in the end:

/etc/linuxmuster/sophomorix/default-school/latex-templates/datalist-DE-1-template.tex

will not work, but

/etc/linuxmuster/sophomorix/default-school/latex-templates/default-school.datalist-DE-1-template.tex

will work, as the template without the preceding schoolname is filtered away by

linuxmuster-webui7/usr/lib/linuxmuster-webui/plugins/lmn_settings/views.py

/usr/share/sophomorix/lang/latex/templates

where templates aren't filtered by

gives a false sense of security, as an unsuspecting user might just assume, they can copy and paste the default template.

What might help, is changing the text to

If you want to use your own latex template for this school, please store it in the directory /etc/linuxmuster/sophomorix/SCHOOL/latex-templates/.
It must follow the naming convention <schoolname>.<yourname>-<LANG>-<num>-template.tex as specified in sophomorix's wiki.

It could even refence the possibility for global templates with a sentence like

If you want to set up a template for all schools, please store it in the directory /usr/share/sophomorix/lang/latex/templates/. It must follow the naming convention <yourname>-<LANG>-<num>-template.tex similar to sophomorix's wiki.
