Database Filters

Tag Management Filters

Mixing Filters

Color Filters

Syntax Patterns

Comparison Operators

• = equals
• < less than
• > greater than
• <= less than or equal
• >= greater than or equal

Logical Operators

• and - combine conditions
• Example: bpm>120 and bpm<130

Date/Time Fields

• days since lastplay - days since last played
• days since first seen - days since added to database

Special Functions

• top N <field> - top N results by field
• group by <field> - organize into nested folders
• is "" - empty/missing field check

Lyrics Filters

VirtualDJ 2026 adds AI lyric states, but forum reports show that the browser's "Has Lyrics" instant filter can be build-sensitive.

Practical notes:

• Prefer the UI equivalent of Has Lyrics is not "" when you want both yes and edited lyric states.
• Treat Has Lyrics = yes as narrower than "has usable lyrics" until verified on your target build.
• Use deck-level has_lyrics in skins only for the loaded deck. For browsed files, use browser filter syntax or a verified quick_filter expression.
