openapi-typescript doesn't work when I try to use typescript 7.0.2

I believe TypeScript 7.0 does not ship with an API. TypeScript 7.1 should ship with a new (and different) API, but until then, you can do this:

@yzhe554 @ryanelian let me know if you want this as a @hey-api plugin. Seems @drwpow is pretty busy these days, I'd be more than happy to continue maintaining this "no codegen" codegen approach!

this was the case for me too, what helped was deleting the lockfile and running bun intstall -f

Can also try this: delete node_modules, lockfile and remove openapi-typescript dependency, then:

bunx --package typescript@6 --package openapi-typescript openapi-typescript ./path/to/my/schema.yaml -o ./path/to/my/schema.d.ts
