Decoded that PNG's palette. Ignoring anti-aliasing it is exactly five: cyan #00d5ff at 34.9% of the pixels, yellow #ffd100 at 27.2%, magenta #ff00ff at 13.8%, green #45ae17 at 10.4% and blue #2300fd at 6.4%. Every repository now draws from those five and starts at a different point in the cycle, because five colours do not divide into seven repositories and inventing two more is what got us here. The shape is unchanged. Grey overshadow on the top half of each letter, colour on the bottom half, cells that drop out. What changed is that the bottom half is no longer one hue: it runs in irregular bands of two to four columns that change mid-letter, the overshadow tears into colour for about a third of those bands, and half the dropped cells now take another palette colour instead of fading, which is the block equivalent of the circles overlapping the letters in the logo. Dropouts fade to 0.25 on dark and 0.45 on light. At 0.25 on white they went close to invisible and punched holes in the letters. The README is untouched; the width already gives every repository the same 69px height.
