MOBILE APP: Please allow an option for badged icon to show number of threads needing attention

I'm not sure exactly what the mobile app's badged icon does right now. I rarely if ever see anything there. But I think it would be nice if the badge showed the number of currently outstanding threads or threads needing attention. So if I have 2 threads that need input and 4 threads that are done, that would be nice if it showed a 6 in the app icon badge on my phone.

If the developers think that this is not desired behavior for some users, then perhaps it could be a switch in settings?

For a little more context, when I'm Command-Tabbing through apps, for example, I can see I have 1 message waiting for me in Messages, 2 emails waiting for me in Mail, a few Slack messages, etc. But on the T3 icon, there's nothing, even though there are 3 threads waiting on my response. This just feels wrong. This is what badges are for: to let you know how many things require your attention, which sort of fits perfectly with the precise problem that T3 code is trying to solve in my opinion.
