After migrating to new UI framework, the Preset Search functionality (i think before it was called with the Enter key) seems to be missing

It's already a work in progress. I'm adding a preset playlist editor and a quick search popup, which would solve this issue.

That looks pretty solid. I'd personally recommend factoring out the search dialog/logic into a separate class to keep the main GUI class tidy.
If you could do that, please feel free to open a PR, I'd gladly merge it!
