From 9d8f36b000e626526a52699c107ecc5495f78b92 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: sumerc Date: Fri, 23 Oct 2026 15:09:16 +0300 Subject: [PATCH 01/23] feat(llama): build llama.cpp on zee's ggml; cgo wrapper for local LLM llama.cpp is pinned at f05c8b278, a commit whose vendored ggml is the same 0.26.0 as zee's GGML_BASE, and `make llama-lib` builds only libllama with -DLLAMA_USE_SYSTEM_GGML=ON against the ggml parakeet installs: one ggml in the process, as with whisper. The build stops if the submodule moves off LLAMA_BASE. internal/llama loads a GGUF chat model on Metal and completes an already-formatted prompt greedily until an end-of-generation token. Checked with Gemma 4 E2B (Q4_K_M). Its time grows with the - length of the dictation, and it has no 5 s budget. -- `colors` — each profile's colour for the recording overlay, `"#RRGGBB"`. zee - gives a profile without one a random colour from its palette the first time - you use it, and saves it so the colour stays put; edit it to choose your own. - -Built-in profiles: `clean` (the cleanup alone, tone untouched), `friendly` -(conversational tone), `professional` (work email tone). Every profile fixes -grammar and misheard words (toward `hints.txt`), removes filler, repetition and -false starts, keeps the sentence in the language you spoke it in (English words -inside a Turkish sentence stay English), and never answers the dictated text. + loads it when a recording starts and keeps it in memory from then on. It now unloads in the background. A recording keeps the config it started with, so its rewrite could reload the model after the user moved off it; finishTranscription now calls Release after the rewrite.
