SQ/SLP is a reliable source of basic server status to compliment the sometimes unreliable socket connection. I originally took it out due to it's complexity, but I wish to work it back into the code. It's a useful tool to get the basic widgets working while forum owners diagnose any issues with the socket connection. For example, if the socket connection is temporarily broken, the server will appear offline, and widgets will be feed incorrect/outdated data.
