Summary

  • Set inlineSources: true in packages/core/tsconfig.lib.json so each published .js.map embeds its .ts source in sourcesContent.
  • The .ts files are not published and the maps point at ../../../../../packages/core/**/*.ts, so error trackers (Sentry) resolve a frame to its .ts line but cannot show code context.
  • Cost: larger .map files in the package, since each embeds the full TypeScript.

Testing

  • Compiled data/observable/index.ts with tsc --sourceMap --inlineSources: the emitted map carries sourcesContent (17k chars).
  • Not verified: the full core build, and the published package with the new maps. A republish plus a Sentry frame check is still needed.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Core ships .js.map files that list .ts sources without sourcesContent,
and the .ts files are not published. Error trackers like Sentry can map
a frame to its .ts line but cannot show any code context. Setting
inlineSources embeds each source in its map.
