Version 9.9 is completely broken #129

Brief summary
Hello, I've just updated on F-Droid from version 9.8.2 to version 9.9, and nothing was appearing: no history, no saved manga.
I made a backup, and if I restore it in version 9.8.2, it works. But if I install a fresh Futon at version 9.9, the backup restores to the same issue: nothing appearing.
Steps to reproduce
- Update from version 9.8.2 to 9.9
- Nothing appears :(

You thought that you have smart users, but my dumb brain thought "ok, so I can switch, but I'm currently on manga mode". A bit embarrassing 🥲

But my dumb brain made it so that clicking 'OK' takes you to novel mode; I mean, it was supposed to show the mode, but I don't know, it might have been confusing.
