Wishlist Agent

Wishlist Agent is a new hackathon repo for the OWS Hackathon.

Core pitch:

  • user pastes a product link
  • user sets size, priority, and max budget
  • user funds the wishlist treasury directly with crypto in a treasury asset like RLUSD or USDC
  • an OWS-style policy layer checks guardrails
  • the agent only buys when funding and x402/MPP conditions pass

Track fit:

  • Track 1: Agentic Storefronts & Real-World Commerce
  • Track 2: Agent Spend Governance & Identity

Current MVP slice implemented:

  • profile + shipping guardrails
  • wishlist URL intake
  • item normalization
  • direct crypto treasury funding
  • policy evaluation
  • audit trail
  • x402 / MPP rail selection placeholder

Current Product Direction

The active product direction is documented in docs/product-direction.md.

Important rule for this repo:

  • new product ideas raised during development should be treated as implementation candidates by default
  • do not silently drop a product idea just because it adds work
  • if an idea is risky, blocked, or better staged for a later milestone, document it and scaffold toward it instead of ignoring it
  • current examples of active direction include:
    • mobile-first website UX
    • upfront purchase mode selection (priority_queue or single_item_focus)
    • link and screenshot intake paths
    • clarification-first workflow when size, color, variant, merchant, or budget are ambiguous
    • confirmed-only purchase eligibility for the worker
    • public shareable wishlist pages and gifting flows
    • notification preferences and surprise-mode ordering behavior
    • phased roadmap: Phase 1 links-first, Phase 2 screenshots and cross-site sale hunting
    • MoonPay kept as intended launch onboarding, not an active dependency for the hackathon build

Structure

  • web/ — Vite React frontend
  • api/ — Hono API with in-memory demo data
