Ali Romman's PR #4992 requested independent review of its sharp high-weight cap. This adds one isolated audit package: an AI-assisted review of the written proof and a separately implemented six-plus-six path join that checks the complete five-label, length-twelve cycle domain without using the audited theorem as a pruning rule. No blocking gap or counterexample was found in the stated scope.

Proof audit and completeness argument · exact receipt · canonical claim.

Result and added coverage

The independent enumeration finds 221,700 rooted cycles up to reversal, including 49,680 universal cycles. All 298,080 high-weight functional checks have excess at most 11, with equality at each mask; no universal weight-four (8,4) split occurs. The full histogram agrees with PR4907's prior measurements after the exact symmetry factor 60. Those measurements and the sharp theorem remain credited predecessor results.

The new method joins all pairs of six-edge simple paths with common endpoints and disjoint interiors. It imports no predecessor executable and uses no matching, quotient or excess pruning. Six small domains compare complete cycle sets against all 77,019 literal words. The proof review explicitly checks the repeated-projection argument, the allowed repeated minority projection y=w, and the affine-basis reduction for the support lemma.

This is independent implementation and AI-assisted review, not independent human or proof-kernel acceptance. It changes no maintained engine, supplier, paid profile or selected frontier; selected kappa remains 60403/20000000.

Verification

Windows 11 / CPython 3.12.0, standard library:

python3.12 -B scripts/research_package.py --package research/f7-sharp-cap-independent-audit
python3.12 -B scripts/check_research_commit.py --package research/f7-sharp-cap-independent-audit
  • Normal and optimized independent audits pass.
  • Eight semantic rejection controls and both sharp witnesses pass.
  • Six actual code mutations fail through calibration or semantic controls, with receipt comparison bypassed.
  • Private reviewed-proof corruption and integer-to-boolean receipt corruption both fail at their intended gates.
  • The original PR4992 registered normal/optimized replay also passes, separately.
  • Metadata/pins, all 11 committed package/input files, and official export integrity pass.
  • Fresh Git-free export: normal, optimized and mutation commands pass with empty PATH; all 12 exported files remain byte-identical.

Export SHA-256: 390f02f42b334ad4c4eec372f1648a65a03d96e9a62850c7b14c8a7f0585d6dd. The optional full-history ancestry preflight was not run in this shallow clone. No selected cold replay, seven-label census, engine integration or complete multiplication theorem is claimed.

Task, overlap and attribution

Handoff-first, priority revision 7, with a declared change from the generic census-pruning-audit card. Base f259dab; audited PR4992 head 12a0105. Its three reviewed blobs match both the retained main files and exact public author head.

Canonical main refreshed to 4c0a359 before publication: governing guidance, selected record and audited inputs are unchanged. Final advisory overlap snapshots covered 304 open PRs and 4,153 Discussion records with complete pagination; 103 local records were searched, with 6,609 tracked notes omitted. Arbitrary diffs and unpublished work remain limits. PR5001 and JoyboyBrian's active prefix-engine integration are explicitly separate.

Credit Ali Romman / #4992, Mihir Srivastava / #4907, Nick Petalas / #4894, and the retained unpaidmoon, Nicholas Stone, James Reed and Ross Richardson lineage. Original sources/notices remain unchanged. Prepared by Mihir Srivastava with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance, solo; the review was not blinded. New work is Apache-2.0.

Open next question: independent human or proof-assistant review of the four-block contradiction and affine support reduction. No larger census or duplicate engine-integration task is proposed.
