The PR #6030 promotion changes the selected record but leaves current CI navigation on PR #5599, and puts the decimal plus fraction inside one bold span where the current-status check expects the exact bold decimal. These two mismatches fail the shared onboarding job and skip scientific replay for new research PRs, including PR #6047 and PR #6049.

Add the current PR #6030 replay, review, validation and source-manifest links; retain the entire PR #5599 section as a historical checkpoint. Format the selected decimal separately from its unchanged fraction. No certificate, selected record, proof source or historical evidence is changed.

Validation: all six existing tests in test_research_current_status.py pass on CPython 3.12.8; git diff --check passes. The failure is documented in the hosted run. No supplier replay is required for these navigation edits.

Significance for researchers

Restores the shared entry point for scientific replay after the selected-result update. It changes no mathematical claim or κ.

Open next questions

Future selected-result promotions should update these navigation sections alongside the selected record; the existing tests already enforce the contract.

Prepared by zxv with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance.

Dependent archived jobs now run and expose stale source bindings: historical-1042-link and test-suite-locale-reads reject docs/research/current-status.md; d8-mixed-target-seeda97c8e rejects the already-current autoresearch.md. The current-status navigation tests pass. No frozen pin is migrated or weakened; disposition of those archived consumers is a separate maintainer task.
