Plot watermark read from another installation sharing the user configuration #462

Problem

DataLab persists the absolute path of the watermark image of the running installation in the user configuration ([view] watermark_image_path in DataLab_v1_typed.ini). On the next start, this stored value overrides the path computed for the running installation.

As a result, installations sharing the same user configuration (e.g. DataLab installed in several Python environments) display the watermark of the first one:

• the watermark disappears without notice once that installation is removed;
• it stays blurry on high-DPI screens when that installation predates the @2x images.

Observed with DataLab 1.3.0 under Python 3.14 reading ...\Python312\site-packages\datalab\data\logo\DataLab-watermark.png.

Fix

The watermark path is application branding (like the splash screen image): it must not be persisted. The obsolete key written by DataLab 1.3 is removed when the configuration is loaded.
