How to assign which folder records are stored in?

Yes, a deal breaker for me, as I take all mobiles new files to computer by automation. Currently the location is /Android/data...

Yeah, on my device you cannot browse to /Android/data

The issue is even graver: the default folder is automatically deleted upon uninstallation, immediately removing all recordings!

I had just updated to the new version which was broken on my device and when trying to roll back to the previous version, I lost all of my recordings!

This folder is NOT a good choice for storing permanent data and I'd even argue that it should not be the default.

EDIT: I see how more recent android versions have restricted file access to make this very hard. Still maybe there could be some backup feature or a warning to prevent such data loss. Also Android has shared media access which might be an option: https://developer.android.com/training/data-storage/shared/media.
