The third public npm publish attempt using an authenticated NPM_TOKEN failed after package build at TLOG_CREATE_ENTRY_ERROR (409): equivalent provenance entry exists in Rekor but package is not confirmed on npmjs. Temporarily disable npm provenance (NPM_CONFIG_PROVENANCE=false) for the v0.2.0 token-based publish, retain --access public, full test/build/pack checks and independent public registry verification. Remove an unsupported setup-node input that produced a warning. This workaround does not affect the package code or its GitHub Packages release; future versions should restore provenance after resolving Sigstore retry behavior.
