v1.104.2 builds tailscaled with Go 1.27.3, which fixes the stdlib CVE-2026-78667, CVE-2026-97031 and CVE-2026-78669 (Go 1.27.2) and the eMudhra intermediate distrust CVE-2026-111943 (Go 1.27.3). golang.org/x/net is still v0.59.0 upstream, so CVE-2026-78669 stays flagged on x/net. Alpine 3.20 is end of life and only carries ca-certificates 20260413-r0, which still trusts "emSign ECC Root CA - G3" after the eMudhra intermediate key compromise. ca-certificates 20261020-r0 (the distrust update) ships only in 3.24 and edge. The Alpine 3.24 base moves the embedded MariaDB from 10.11 to 11.8, and existing /server-data/mysql system tables stay on the 10.11 layout. Run mariadb-upgrade once the socket is up (no-op on current data, failure only logged) and install mariadb-server-utils, which ships it on Alpine. CI status: every job is green except On attempt 3 the build step itself succeeded in 14m45s (07:58:19 → 08:13:04); the job was then cancelled during the post step (cache save, done at 08:13:42), so it misses the limit by about 30 seconds. That job builds operator, api, agent, sentinel, capture-sidecar, telemetry-receiver, fakeoidc, mcp-server, audit-syslog-bridge, tunnel-frp, gameprobe and api-postgres. Each TestCISelection_* test commits a whole checkout, which leaves enough loose objects to start git's background gc and maintenance. On arm64 they were still writing into .git when t.TempDir removed it, so the tests failed at cleanup with "directory not empty" after every assertion had passed (#748, #775; #785 hit the same in the coverage fixture). The git helpers in the e2e test and both Python test files now pass gc.auto=0 and maintenance.auto=false. Approved by valgul 2026-10-22. 20260816ubuntu0.26.04.1(resolute-security, 2026-10-20) changelog says: "Blacklist … emSign ECC Root CA - G3 due to intermediate cert compromise (LP: #2171507)". The old pin is Superseded. The SteamCMD base is Ubuntu 26.04.1, and ARK, Squad, The Isle, Bannerlord and Nuclear Option build on it.ca-certificates 20261020-r0, which exists only in 3.24 and edge.
