#CEOI PACKAGE: DRYAD and Trigram Generator

CEOI (Communications Electronics Officer's Information or Operating Instructions) is a small (500 kb) suite of programs used to create dryads and trigrams. There are examples and instructions in the included text files. These are what I believe to be the originals, first appearing on the internet around 1995. In their current state, they need to be run in a DOS box or Win XP or earlier. So, an old pawnshop laptop should do nicely. The whole package will fit, and run, on a small thumb drive.

Advantages: Since no algorithms are used to create the codes, a brute force attack is futile. Because the codes generated are just letters, ie, RHW, they can be transmitted via any system that recognizes the English alphabet; voice, RTTY, PSK, FSK, CW, and so on.

Disadvantages: while the trigram is too slow for tactical use, the opcodes, being 2 digit numbers, are ideal for tactical use, using words suited to your local needs. Requires training.

Technical: Whatever you use, it MUST be air-gapped. This especially applies to anything that accesses the cloud, like modern tank printers. best use LAN cables for that. Non-proportional, or MonoSpace, fonts must be used to preserve column spacing. The system depends on physical security and trust, and operating with a little common sense.
