Trivy and govulncheck flag stdlib 1.26.5, x/crypto 0.54, x/mod 0.38, grpc 1.82.1 and otel 1.44 (HIGH/MEDIUM CVEs); the govulncheck job on main is red. - toolchain go1.26.8, builder image golang:1.26.8 (index digest) - x/crypto 0.57.0, x/net 0.59.0, x/text 0.42.0, x/mod 0.41.0 - grpc 1.83.2: 1.84.0 is still affected by GO-2026-6443 (CVE-2026-84445); the fix is only on 1.83.2 and 1.85-dev - otel 1.45.0 (GO-2026-6505), cel-go 0.30.0 (GO-2026-6094) govulncheck with go1.26.8 now reports 0 called vulnerabilities. Remaining module-level GO-2026-5932 (x/crypto/openpgp) has no fix; the package is not imported. dependency-review now reports golang.org/x/{net,sync,sys,term} as "BSD-3-Clause AND LicenseRef-scancode-google-patent-license-golang". That ref is the Go PATENTS grant, so it joins the allow list; the copyleft block is unchanged. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> Signed-off-by: phil <phil@keiailab.com>

Security release, also a code release: tag, chart version and appVersion are aligned so release.yml builds and publishes the image. Includes: Go toolchain 1.26.8 and vulnerable module bumps (#411), workflow hardening (#412), Dependabot (#413), MongoDB 9.0 support with 9.0.2 and exporter 0.53.0 as defaults (#414), fuzz test (#422). Bundle regenerated with `make bundle VERSION=1.16.10` (ADR-0038 parity). artifacthub.io/images moves the operator to v1.16.10 and keeps the upstream mongo/exporter images whitelisted; containsSecurityUpdates is true.
