Trivy reports twelve open findings on go.mod and the manager binary: grpc v1.82.1 (CVE-2026-84304 and CVE-2026-84445 HIGH, CVE-2026-84303 MEDIUM) and otel sdk/otlptrace (CVE-2026-81870 LOW). grpc goes to v1.83.2, not v1.84.0: the Go vuln DB lists v1.84.0 as still affected by GO-2026-6443 (fixed only on the 1.85 dev line), so v1.83.2 is the newest release clean in both govulncheck and Trivy. otel moves to v1.45.0; x/mod and k8s.io/* take their latest patches. toolchain go1.26.8 records the patch the image uses. x/net, x/sys, x/sync and x/term stay put. No advisory needs them, and their new versions are detected as "BSD-3-Clause AND LicenseRef- scancode-google-patent-license-golang", which the dependency-review license allowlist rejects. The Dockerfile base images were floating tags (Scorecard PinnedDependencies); both are now pinned by digest. otel moves to v1.45.0; x/mod and k8s.io/* take their latest patches.

x/net, x/sys, x/sync and x/term stay put. No advisory needs them, and
their new versions are detected as "BSD-3-Clause AND LicenseRef-
scancode-google-patent-license-golang", which the dependency-review
license allowlist rejects.
The Dockerfile base images were floating tags (Scorecard
PinnedDependencies); both are now pinned by digest.
Local: make test, govulncheck v1.8.0, trivy fs + image (HIGH/CRITICAL) clean.
