    Thanks, @ahm3dhussainn-dotcom.

A .kra~ file is the backup Krita keeps of your previous save: the same KRA file with ~ added to its name.

    Filee 2.3.0 reads .kra (#1047): https://github.com/KnifeLemon/Filee/releases/tag/v2.3.0
Until it takes .kra~ directly, rename a copy from name.kra~ to name.kra and drop it on Filee: it converts to PNG, JPG, WebP and the other picture formats.

We'll make Filee recognise .kra~ itself, so the renaming isn't needed. I'll link the change here.

@ahm3dhussainn-dotcom Filee now reads .kra~ directly (#1101). It ships in the next version.

    • Drop sketch.kra~ and it converts like sketch.kra. The result is named sketch.png.
    • Watch folders skip .kra~ (and any name ending in ~). Krita writes the backup next to your drawing on every save, so converting it too would put the previous picture under the same name.

Until the update, renaming a copy to .kra still works.
