Long-Toolkit was founded by Dr Alex Kwong (Edinburgh) and Simon Provost (McGill) during Simon's research internship with the Lifecourse Epidemiology and Psychiatry Research Group (LEAP) at the University of Edinburgh. Since then, PhD students Bianca Branco (Edinburgh), Honghui Chen (Edinburgh) and Isaac Tassella (Edinburgh) have joined discussions, development or the toolkit's use at the University of Edinburgh, all supervised by Dr Alex Kwong (Edinburgh).
Our open-source Python toolkits help researchers prepare longitudinal data (repeated measurements of the same participants), compare machine learning with statistical baselines, and explain predictions. A no-code command-line interface (CLI) provides access to these tools without writing Python.
Come give it a try: explore the documentation and the main repository. Supports Python 3.10 only. Available on macOS and Linux, and on Windows (via Docker).
