If the intention is really to publish an empty list then we might as well remove the page.

If the intention is to get the active service providers to re-submit their info via this PR then perhaps make it clear that this is what is expected as some of them may not dare to revert the removal or add themselves.

P.S. FWIW I am unclear whether Mapgears should still be there. I have no problem with the removal since we're not as active as we used to be and we want the list or providers to be relevant, but we still care and we support dev initiatives mostly indirectly as we can in collaboration with other devs.

Currently on holiday, but still on-board as a service provider!

@dmorissette (your presence is missed at recent FOSS4Gs!) - I think MapGears should definitely stay if you are still involved with the project. Having larger companies in the list from various countries hopefully provides an option when other organisations need local companies for MapServer support.
