…44.0 Reasoner notebook: the Cosmos3-Super-FP8 launch on vllm/vllm-openai:v0.31.0 needs --trust-request-mm-kwargs. Without it every video request, which sends media_io_kwargs (num_frames, fps), is rejected with HTTP 400. Image requests were unaffected. Quantization cookbook: pin nvidia-modelopt[torch]==0.44.0 in the README and the three notebooks instead of installing whatever is latest. Validated the reasoner change by running the notebook against nvidia/Cosmos3-Super-FP8 at TP=4 on 4 B200 GPUs: all cells ran and all video requests returned content. The modelopt pin was not re-run. …d-client use --trust-request-mm-kwargs lets each request override media settings such as num_frames and fps, which can increase CPU, GPU, and memory use. The launch cells published the server on all host interfaces with no API authentication. Publish the server on 127.0.0.1 only (the query cells already use localhost), note next to the flag that it is for trusted clients only, and document that serving remote clients needs additional measures such as --api-key and network-level access controls. …d Cosmos3-Super launches The first video request after a server start includes a one-time warm-up that exceeds the 600 s default of VLLM_OMNI_VIDEO_SYNC_TIMEOUT. On vllm/vllm-omni:cosmos3 with the FP8 checkpoints on one B200 it took about 9 minutes for Nano and about 28 minutes (1767 s) for Super, and the request returned 504 Gateway Timeout under the default. Later videos took about 2 minutes (Nano) and 6.5 minutes (Super). Set VLLM_OMNI_VIDEO_SYNC_TIMEOUT=3600 in the Nano and Super launch commands in references/vllm-omni.md, where the audiovisual launch guidance now lives, and in the FP8 launch command, which serves Nano by default and Super via SERVED_MODEL. Explain why next to the commands. Edge and the 4-step launches are unchanged. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Signed-off-by: Wojciech Kutak <wkutak@nvidia.com>

Tested PR #341 at 39eb806: PASS with coverage limitations.
Reasoner: 18/18 requests passed, including 12 video requests, at TP=2.
Nano/Super generation: 8/8 cases passed.
Source checks: 22 passed; ModelOpt 0.44.0 CPU smoke passed.
No confirmed product defects. TP=4 and full-model requantization remain unverified.

nvidia/Cosmos3-Super-FP8withvllm/vllm-openai:v0.31.0at TP=4, launch command as written, the reasoner notebook passed all image cells but failed all 10 video cells with HTTP 400.--trust-request-mm-kwargslets any client that can reach the server choose its own media-processing settings. The launch cells published port 8001 on all host interfaces with no API authentication, so the flag is now paired with a loopback-only binding.Validation
