Public CLI workflows occupy a dedicated office VM even though standard GitHub runners are free for public repositories.

• Run every workflow on ubuntu-24.04, freeing the office slot after merge.
• Check out full tag history before calculating release versions; a fresh runner otherwise has no repository in that job.
• Remove the unused office runner label and quote workflow output paths.

Release publishing was not dispatched for validation.
