Contributors whose ISO is stored outside baserom can now run python tools/levels.py --version pal dump --iso "/path/to/Ratchet Gladiator.iso" without copying or linking the disc image into the checkout. The option also works with config; version selection and output locations stay the same. check --iso is rejected because checking uses the extracted dumps.

The command now uses argparse to expose the input option, provide help, and reject unknown or incomplete arguments. The disc workflow documentation includes an example.

Validation:

• Extracted all 49 programs from a PAL SCES_532.85 disc at an external path containing spaces and punctuation; levels.py --version pal check reported 49 dumps checked, 0 differ.
• Regenerated PAL program/level metadata in an isolated directory and compared it with the committed tables (normalizing Windows path separators); all metadata matched.
• Checked the existing default ISO location and RAC_VERSION=pal selection against the same 49 reference hashes.
• Checked argument errors for check --iso, a missing ISO argument, an invalid version, and an unknown option.
• Both US and PAL tools/progress.py --check passed; git diff --check passed.

The game build and function match audits were not run because the game compiler toolchain is not installed. This change only affects the extraction CLI and its documentation; no game code, matching tables, or progress reports are changed. No disc data or extracted binaries are included.
