Summary

Raise the package minimum and Ruff target to Python 3.10, remove the 3.9 classifier and replace the oldest job in all three Qt binding matrices. Preserve the existing PySide6 6.12.0 exclusion before Python 3.12.

Local validation

  • Wheel and sdist built; Requires-Python excludes 3.9 and accepts 3.10.
  • Qt/PlotPyStack rendering smoke passed on CPython 3.10.11 and 3.14.5; full configured Ruff scope passed.

Integration gate

All applicable GitHub checks on the committed PR head passed; scheduled/on-demand checks are excluded only according to their existing source trigger conditions. Merge only after applicable current-head checks and required reviews pass; then verify the merge and close the tracking issue explicitly. No package release or promotion to another stable branch is included.

Tracking issue: #111

Additional minimum-binding qualification: PythonQwt with Python 3.10 / PySide6 6.11.2 passed 31 tests (2 skipped); Windows COM export diagnostics were emitted without test failures.

Final delivery verification

Merged into master as c03f993. The integrated commit and original head b086df0 were independently verified using the pull-request REST API and target-branch comparison. Implementation commits retain Assisted-by: GPT-6.1 Sol. The shared contracts were also compared in the actual target branches where applicable.

The tracking issue is closed only after this merge verification; no package release is included.
