the "Headset" status bar icon does not persist while headphones are connected

Bug Description

when headphones are connected, the "Headset" status bar icon does not persist and disappears after ~1 second.

Steps to Reproduce

1. enable "Headset" icon inside settings > infinity suite > status bar > status bar tuner
2. connect headphones/earphones
3. you will see the Headset status icon appearing for a brief moment & disappearing afterwards.

Possible Fix / Suggestion

this behavior does not happen when headphones are connected while the phone is locked i.e. at the lock screen.

Additional Information

the behavior is also consistent when headphones are connected while the screen is turned off.

I originally recorded the screen-recording on the August update of 3.12
but this behavior persists on the latest September update aswell
