Cleanroom / Forge 1.12.2 replacement for ItemOverlayState.

This project provides:

• generic ios:* item override predicate support
• a drop-in itemoverlaystate client-side replacement mod
• a ContentTweaker compatibility layer for dynamic CT item models
• validated fixes for CT mode cards that rely on ios:nbt model switching

CT compatibility layer

The mod auto-detects ContentTweaker root item models under:

• resources/contenttweaker/models/item

If a root model contains ios:nbt overrides for ModelState, the compatibility layer:

• discovers the CT item automatically
• resolves child state models
• stitches required sprites
• swaps baked item models according to stack NBT

This was built to fully replace the original ItemOverlayState behavior in a Cleanroom-only 1.12.2 environment, while keeping compatibility with existing CT-driven packs.
