I'm seeing this error pop up a lot across multiple files. Why is this happening?

Unfortunately, SpacemanDMM has never fully supported this style of local variable declaration. See #60 and #305.

Use comma style:

var/Name, Race, Hair, Alignment, Avatar

Or multiple var/ lines:

var/Name
var/Race
var/Hair
var/Alignment
var/Avatar
