I like building things that work well and last — the kind of code you're not afraid to open six months later. Backend is where I'm most at home, but I'll go wherever the interesting problems are.
I co-founded AstraBit, where I head up R&D. We're a FINRA-registered digital asset platform building algorithmic trading systems, portfolio analysis tools, and DeFi infrastructure. It's been a wild ride turning "what if we built a better trading platform" into something real and regulated.
I think well-written code has an aesthetic to it. I spend probably too much time on architecture and design patterns, but when it hits just right it's chef's kiss.
Lately I've also been having a lot of fun building AI-powered developer tools — agents, review systems, and skill frameworks that plug into coding assistants like Claude Code and OpenCode.
