Systems Engineering · Infrastructure · DevOps · Architecture

I work across software engineering, infrastructure, and system architecture, with a stronger interest in how systems are designed, connected, deployed, and operated than in any particular programming language or framework.

My work involves managing Linux environments, designing deployment workflows, automating operational tasks, and making architectural decisions for applications and infrastructure.

I enjoy understanding systems beyond their individual components — how everything fits together, where things can fail, and how they can be made simpler, more reliable, and easier to maintain.

What I Work On

Infrastructure & Operations
Working with Linux servers, application hosting, environment configuration, access control, and the operational challenges of running software.

DevOps & Deployment Engineering
Building and managing Git-based deployment workflows, webhook-driven automation, staging and production environments, pre-deployment backups, and release processes.

System Architecture
Exploring modular architectures, system boundaries, database design, application isolation, and the trade-offs involved in building maintainable, scalable systems.

Automation & Tooling
Developing practical automation around deployments, backups, system administration, and repetitive engineering workflows.

Software & Product Engineering
Designing and developing applications while considering the infrastructure, architecture, and operational requirements behind them.

How I Think

I tend to look at the system before the individual feature.

I'm interested in understanding why something works, what happens when it fails, and whether there's a simpler or more sustainable way to engineer it.

I prefer clear architecture over unnecessary abstraction, automation over repetitive manual work, and practical solutions over complexity without purpose.

I believe good engineering isn't about using more technology. It's about making better technical decisions.

Currently Exploring

  • Reliable infrastructure and deployment architecture
  • Modular and multi-tenant software systems
  • Infrastructure and operational automation
  • System reliability, maintainability, and scalability
  • AI-assisted engineering workflows
