The start page no longer writes the email address with a script from 2009 and document.write.

  • A "Show email" button reveals the address as a mailto: link on click and moves focus to it
  • The address is neither in the HTML nor in plain text or Base64 in the script
  • Without JavaScript a hint points to Telegram and Matrix
  • humans.txt and the Docker label point to the website instead of the address
  • The start page has no inline script left, which prepares a strict Content Security Policy

The old script from 2009 wrote the address into the page with
document.write as soon as it loaded. Headless scrapers read it from the
DOM, browsers warn about document.write and it blocks a strict Content
Security Policy. The address now appears only after a click on a
button, which keeps renderers that never click from seeing it. Visitors
without JavaScript get a hint to use Telegram or Matrix.

humans.txt and the image label on Docker Hub listed the address in
plain text, which undermined the protection on the start page. Both now
point to the website instead.
