Insectoids can spawn inside of unrevealed areas when given a quest.


I was given a quest from the senators to clear out a VFE insectoids 2 hive. The insectoids were able to spawn deep inside a mountain in unrevealed areas. Not clearing the hidden hives does not make the quest complete.
