Summary
Build all selected Python ABIs on one runner per platform, reducing PR wheel build jobs from eight to four. PRs still cover Python 3.11 and 3.14; releases still cover 3.11–3.14. Keep wheel repair, the full installed-wheel test suite, artifact collection, and required aggregate check names. macOS shares its OpenMP preparation across ABIs.
Run mypy and the full editor suite on repaired wheels for PRs, retaining source-install declaration checks, smoke tests, Pyright, and FAISS comparisons. Branch pushes retain source-install mypy and editor coverage because non-release pushes can skip wheel builds.
Validation
git diff --checkpassed. actionlint passed after excluding its existing unrecognizedwindows-2025-vs2026label diagnostic.ABIs now run serially within each platform job; a failed ABI stops subsequent builds and fails the job. The existing 90-minute job timeout is unchanged.
