What

Moves all ATS logic into @veriworkly/ats-engine (packages/ats-engine), audits and hardens it, and runs the server, site and studio through it. Prepares the package for its own repo (VeriWorkly/ats-engine) and a first npm release, 0.1.0.

Engine (packages/ats-engine)

  • Modular parser, matching, requirement judging (met / partial / missing / unverifiable with evidence), scoring with a published rubric (RUBRIC.md), verdict.
  • Policy-driven: all rules and vocabulary in a validated policy; English base plus de, hi and US/DE/IN region packs.
  • Integrity checks: PDF/DOCX hidden text, invisible and look-alike characters, AI-directed instructions, pasted postings, keyword stuffing.
  • /node extraction: PDF (pdfjs) and DOCX (mammoth); the zip reader matches JSZip exactly so the 64 MB expansion budget holds; per-page budgets.
  • /ai: analyze, parse repair and resume conversion; redaction before sending; every model value grounded in the source (linear-time).
  • Runs in Node, browsers and edge; linear time on hostile 50 KB input.
  • Tooling: tests (966), benchmark (field accuracy 100%), size budgets, browser/edge smoke, CI and release workflows, changesets, docs.

Platform

  • Server: scoring, extraction, AI and grounding call the engine; old local copies removed.
  • Site: report normalisation follows the engine report; new requirements panel.
  • Studio: ATS workspace sends the engine's ats-resume@1 document; ATS-safe template tweaks.
  • API docs: OpenAPI schemas updated, generated copies regenerated.
  • Build: workspace wiring, Dockerfiles, CI.

Verification

  • npm run check (package): build, typecheck, lint, 966 tests, size, smoke, pack: green
  • npm run bench: 100.0% on every field
  • apps/server, apps/site, apps/studio: tsc clean
  • Server tests 281/281, site contracts 49/49, studio contracts 269/269

Notes

  • Scores change for the same input versus master (rubric, requirements, integrity); see packages/ats-engine/CHANGELOG.md.
  • After 0.1.0 is on npm, a follow-up PR switches the apps to the published package and removes packages/ats-engine from this repo.

The package has never been published, so the audit changesets describe changes against no
released version. Fold them into a single 0.1.0 entry in CHANGELOG.md.
