[FEATURE] Disable notification counter for some "apps".聽#235

Description

馃毄 Problem Description

Hi, I'm not sure whether it should be a feature request. However, I wasn't able to set up iGotify my way, and there is no discussions tab in this repo.

I have multiple apps in my gotify. Usually each notification source has 2 apps, for example: backup-server-info and backup-server-warns. The first is a target for all notifications, let's say backup complete or backup verification succeded. The second is a target for critical/warning notifications, let's say backup failed or out of space.

I want to obtain iOS notifications only from warn apps, but not from info, so I disabled Show Notifications for them. The problem is info notifications still increment the iOS app counter. I want this counter to be higher than zero only if there are warnings. Kinda similar to whatsapp and other IM -- you don't have counter increments for muted chats.

馃挕 Proposed Solution

There are several approaches to address the issue:

  1. Just disable the counter for "muted" apps. Seems good and intuitive to me. But maybe other users won't think so.
  2. Make a separate counter setting for the app. IMHO it is overcomplicating things -- if a user disabled notifications they probably don't wanna see any counters from the app (just like in IM).
  3. Others?

馃攧 Alternatives Considered

See above.

My typical morning... without actual warnings.

馃幆 Use Case

I think this feature would improve the overall UX and would make it closer to IM.
