Advanced History is a Home Assistant custom integration that provides a familiar History-style panel powered by Statistics Graph Chart Card.
It is designed for quickly selecting areas, devices, entities and individual entity attributes, then exploring their history without creating a permanent dashboard card first.

Required dependency: Statistics Graph Chart Card v3.32 or newer must be installed separately. Multiple panels require v4.02 or newer, and embedded state-history strips require v4.03 or newer. Advanced History detects when the card is missing and provides an Install using HACS link.
- Graph Settings and Card Defaults
- More Info Graphs
- Bookmarks History and Undo
- Configuration Reference
Multiple independent panels—including adding, closing, renaming and rearranging tabs—are available on wider desktop and tablet layouts.
On Home Assistant 2026.9 or newer, the native target sidebars make both Y1 and Y2 editable on mobile through target sheets. With the legacy inline target picker, mobile remains limited to Y1 editing; bookmarks containing Y2 targets can still be opened and viewed.
Panel availability follows the screen width, not the physical device type.
- Add the Current Panel to a Dashboard — export an interactive Advanced History card or native Statistics Graph Chart Card cards.
- Advanced History API — open a custom card's current chart in Advanced History.
Advanced History is available from the default HACS repository.
