Normalize resource paths before loading classpath resources and verify that the normalized path remains within the
resdirectory. Apply the guard to both the Servlet API base class and the deprecated SimpleWebConsolePlugin default implementation. Add regression tests for normal resource requests and traversal attempts.Tests:
