* LLVM 22.1.3 -> 23.1.2 LLVM toolchain is now built using a sysroot to target older glibc versions rather than using an older base Debian image. The toolchain includes lld. See https://github.com/astral-sh/llvm-build for details.
LLVM 23 is not provided for this platform. Rather than using an older LLVM release this architecture should be cross-compiled on a aarch64 macOS host.
lld from LLVM 23 does not support these stubs that were added to Clang 23.
Disable tests from profiling that segfault when run under BOLT instrumentation. See: llvm/llvm-project#225479

Update to the LLVM 23.1.2 toolchain from astral-sh/llvm-build.
This toolchain includes
lldand is built using a sysroot with an older glibc.Drop the x86-64 macOS toolchain and support for building on x86-64 macOS hosts. Distributions for x86-64 macOS should be cross-compiled using the aarch64 toolchain on an Apple Silicon host.
Disable clang from emitting objective-C class selector stubs when building
tkas lld from with LLVM 23 does not support these stubs.Disable tests in the profile task that segfault under BOLT instrumentation. This has been reported upstream in llvm/llvm-project#225479. A fit available that could be included in the LLVM if it is not included in future LLVM 23 releases.
