Fix
The Linux installer's service account uses the checkout as its home directory. Pip's default HTTP cache therefore creates an untracked
.cache/pipunder the checkout, causing a subsequent clean-worktree upgrade preflight to refuse to proceed.Pass
--no-cache-dirto the dependency installation command. Existing caches are not deleted or hidden; operators can preserve/move them outside the checkout before retrying a clean-worktree upgrade.Verification
No runtime, secret-provider or UI changes.
