Reusable Workflows for Codecov by Sentry

This repository contains reusable workflows for integrating Codecov by Sentry into your CI/CD pipeline.

These workflows is part of the Codebelt umbrella and ensures a consistent way of:

  • Defining your CI/CD pipeline
  • Structuring your repository
  • Keeping your codebase small and feasible
  • Writing clean and maintainable code
  • Deploying your code to different environments
  • Automating as much as possible

A paved path to excel as a DevSecOps Engineer.

Usage

To call this workflow in your GitHub repository, you can follow these steps:

codecov:
    uses: codebeltnet/jobs-codecov/.github/workflows/default.yml@v1

Inputs

with:
  # The fully qualified name of the repository, including owner, e.g. codebeltnet/xunit.
  repository:
  # The path to the Codecov YAML configuration file.
  # Defaults to .codecov/codecov.yml.
  configuration: .codecov/codecov.yml
  # The branch, tag, or SHA to analyze. Defaults to the triggering ref.
  ref: main
  # Optional reporting identity, independent of checkout ref.
  # Omit to retain Codecov's automatic branch and commit detection.
  branch: ''
  commit: ''
  # Fail the job on upload errors. Existing callers retain the default false.
  fail-on-error: false
  # The maximum time in minutes to allow the job to run. Default is 15 minutes.
  timeout-minutes: 15

For post-release assurance, set ref and commit to the exact released tag's commit SHA, and branch to main. ref controls checkout; branch and commit are forwarded through codecov-scan to the official action's override_branch and override_commit inputs. Existing callers can omit both new inputs to retain their current behavior.
