Freshcodex now supports the shared Freshagent experience across local and managed sessions: rich live and saved conversation output, read-only child conversations, steering and Stop, approvals and questions, installed model discovery, thinking levels, Build/Plan and access settings, recovery, and CLI/MCP/REST automation. CLI and MCP clients can create, split, resume, send to, capture, and wait for Freshcodex conversations.
The implementation preserves native identity and conversation ownership, distinguishes accepted/refused/uncertain sends, and avoids replaying an uncertain prompt. It qualifies Codex 0.164 before aligning the managed runtime, retains honest interrupted/truncated/unsaved history states, and documents the resulting behavior in the README and interface mock.
The compatibility work also makes Claude shutdown signal and join its actual native child before the sidecar exits, preserves fixture process ownership during cleanup, and supports ordinary Cargo binary and temporary-directory discovery. Shutdown retains the existing one-second regression budget. Main PR881 and PR882 are integrated while preserving their cleanup protection and discovery-test headroom.

1d3eda197c8e58f8eb7b9b1736f957c084a44507:pnpm run checkpassed: six prerequisite builds, three typechecks, 9,947 cloud tests in 672 files/four actual tasks, 21 local companion tests, 10 source-runtime tests, 7,478 top-level Rust tests in 192 groups including Tauri, and 395 Electron tests in 42 files. All owned test resources and query helpers closed normally.rust-gatepassed at this final head, as did all four Electron platform builds with installer, unpacked-artifact and checkout-free runtime acceptance.Browser acceptance exercises the real Freshell server/UI with simulated native responses; installed-native acceptance is separate. No production deployment or restart is part of this PR.
