Create validated, robust symbolic links to NAS folders, storage arrays, or client directories on Linux / macOS.

• Validation: Automatically verifies source path existence before attempting link creation.
• Auto-Directory Creation: Creates the target parent directory (mkdir -p) if it doesn't already exist.
• Collision Protection: Detects existing symlinks and prompts for confirmation or supports -f / --force.

🚀 Usage

1. Interactive Mode

git clone https://github.com/digdast/client-symlinks.git
cd client-symlinks
chmod +x create_symlinks_to_clients.sh
./create_symlinks_to_clients.sh

2. Command-Line / Scripting Mode

# Basic positional syntax: <source> <target_dir> [symlink_name]
./create_symlinks_to_clients.sh /mnt/nas/clients/acme /var/www/clients acme

# Flag-based syntax
./create_symlinks_to_clients.sh -s /mnt/nas/shared_media -t /home/user/media -n nas_media --force
